Quimera Travel Experiences was born at the end of 2015 as a nature tourism company specializing in guided outdoor experiences.
From the very beginning, our purpose was simple: to reveal the authentic Algarve — where nature, culture, and local life intertwine.

​The name Quimera emerged naturally during a team brainstorming session. For us, it symbolizes dreams, imagination, and the constant search for inspiration — to explore, discover, and share landscapes, stories, and emotions.

​Based in the Algarve, this is where we develop most of our activities. However, our spirit of exploration and the growth of our team have led us to expand our horizons to other regions of Portugal and beyond.

​In 2019, we took another step forward by obtaining our Travel Agency license, which allowed us to broaden our offer and create even more complete and personalized experiences.
